The AEW and WWE brands of wrestling couldn't be further apart from one another when it comes to fan opinion, and the former will be hoping that remains the same as AEW: Fight Forever is properly debuted. Despite a better-than-expected entry in last year's WWE 2K22, fans will hope the All Elite Wrestling video game adaptation trumps it just as much as it does in real life.
A new trailer was revealed as part of the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase, with commentator Tony Schiavone and wrestler Britt Baker fronting the action. The pair get to grips with the game, sharing gameplay footage from a Dynamite taping. There'll be "a big roster of AEW talent, multiple match types, a robust career mode, tons of customization options, more than 40 weapons, and so much more," a press release explains. The trailer shows the classic chair and a fire hydrant being used during a match against Adam Cole.
There are even some mini-games to play outside the campaign, like dance battles, a wrestling take on baseball, and coin drop inside the ring. The trailer ends by saying AEW: Fight Forever is "coming soon", so no release date just yet for the PS5, PS4 versions. Does this latest look at the game have you excited for a WWE 2K alternative? Slow to this one 😂 been on twitter for over a week.
I honestly think this looks really fun.
Nice alternative to 2K and with all of AEW’s great roster.
Looks like good fun. Very arcadey which I’m up for. Graphics aren’t everything after all.
Graphics aren’t everything, and clearly they are going for an arcadey experience here, which definitely could be fun.
But man this looks like a PS2 game.
Looks a bit basic, but I like the look of those mini games! They could make the game sega like and maybe worth the price of admission!
That looks absolutely terrible. The graphics look early Ps3 gen at best.
Graphics don’t look the best but it does look fun. I’ll probably get this.
if it was a 20-25$ indie game that would be great , but im guessing they'll charge full price for this one.
This looks like a lot more then the 2K trainwrecks and Yuke is working on day one this will be the closest to here comes the pain.
Can you create your own wrestler?

game looks cool. I'm down.
Until they show us legit gameplay and NOT hidden away from a skit im skeptical. Look if its amazing it will be day 1 for me but right now i have barely seen anything.
Brit Baker ❤️
The game itself doesn't look too bad. I'm not a graphics afisionado so definitely not a deal breaker for me. Looks like it could be a fun pick up and play style game for switch (provided they actually polish that version)
Looking forward to this, 2k22 wasn't as good as was made out, still a jankfest with no collision detection or decent AI. Be nice not to have to import creations for an AEW roster finally too.
No need for the mini-games. Aside from maybe an arm wrestle backstage. It's a wrestling game guys, not a Japanese game show.
The mini games are for twitch streamers and people that like to play co-op. It's a good idea and who knows, maybe some of their mini games will catch on like fall guys.
